Pamela Adams

Hello, I teach 5th Grade Language Arts at North Douglas Elementary. Stingray Strong! In the relentless Pursuit of Excellence!  I am a 4th year ELA Writing teacher with North Douglas Elementary School, but I received my undergraduate degree in 2009 from the University of West Georgia and a Masters in Education in 2012. For the previous 5 years I have taught middle school Language Arts and Social studies but it has long been my desire to teach elementary students.

Upon graduation I also received a Writing Across the Curriculum certificate from the College of Arts and Sciences for the completion of intensive writing courses. I completed my first year and half as a professional educator at Heritage Prep Charter School in Atlanta, Georgia teaching 6th & 7th Grades Language Arts and Social Studies. Followed by two years teaching 6th Grade Language Arts in Troup County. Then two-years teaching in the Carroll County and City Schools and finally arriving here at North Douglas Elementary.

I am a mother of two beautiful daughters, and I am blessed with five grandchildren. My two granddaughters are students in the Douglas County School system. The two of my three grandsons are students at Amana Academy, in the Fulton County School system, and the youngest baby arrived in 2019.

Working with children provides me great enjoyment and I am looking forward to speaking with each of you about your Stingray.  If you would like to contact me, please do so at [email protected] or on the Remind account.

Best regards,

Pamela Jones Adams, M.G.E.D.
