Karen Weiss
Second Grade Teacher
I am originally from Bethlehem, PA.,but have lived in Northwest Georgia for many years. I have a son and daughter. I enjoy all types of music, reading, swimming and, of course, teaching. I started my teaching career as a kindergarten parapro at Carrollton City Elementary School. Then, I graduated with an Early Childhood Education degree from the University of West Georgia in Carrollton and earned my masters degree in education from there as well.
I have taught for 15 years at North Douglas Elementary School. I currently teach 2nd grade, but have also taught 3rd and 4th grades. I have loved teaching at North Douglas and am privileged to have met and worked with such awesome students and families.
