Our test scores and student portfolios indicate an outstanding staff and fantastic students.

The focal point for North Douglas Elementary instruction is on Language Arts (reading, language, spelling, handwriting and writing), Math, Social Studies, Science, and Health. The media center provides classroom teachers, parents, and students with quality resources that will help students maximize learning. We have a staff of approximately 90, which includes administrators, teachers, secretaries, paraprofessionals, cafeteria workers, custodians, and other support personnel. We do our best to minimize class size and maximize instruction. Our school is also the home for two Special Education Pre-K classes with one teacher and one paraprofessional in each room. There are is also a special education class having a teacher and paraprofessionals. We offer speech/language services, Physical Education, Music, Art, Program Challenge, Special Education, and English as a Second Language.
