Education has been a part of my life for a long time. I began with my Aunt’s daycare as the infant teacher after graduating high school. I received my paraprofessional certificate and my Associate’s degree at Dekalb Community College. I was a paraprofessional for 5+ years in the Dekalb County School System. I received my Bachelor’s, Master’s and Specialist degree with an ESOL and Reading Endorsement from Mercer University. I taught for 10+ years in a Georgia Lottery Pre-K. I then taught in Fulton County for 3 years and am now currently a NDES Stingray.

I am blessed to have a magnificent husband of 20 years, 3 beautiful girls, a new son-in-law, 2 sweet little granddaughters, and a family dog named Tatum.

My goal is to prepare students with more than a basic education but an academic understanding and solid foundation for their future.

Each one, reach one. Each one, teach one. Until all are taught.
