NDES students and families celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month on October 3rd. During the day students were asked to wear clothing that represents their Hispanic Heritage or a color that represented a color in a flag from Hispanic countries around the globe. That evening was a parent night, each grade featured a part of Hispanic culture and families and staff brought food for everyone to sample. The book fair was also open for parents to shop with a table of featured Spanish titles.
