Stewart Middle School recently held their annual spelling bee. After several rounds of intense competition, Parker Hopson, a sixth-grader, emerged as the champion. Mekhi Boykin, an eighth-grader, was named the alternate.
The spelling bee was a closely contested event, with many students demonstrating impressive spelling skills. However, Hopson and Boykin stood out with their accuracy and composure under pressure.
Hopson will now represent Stewart Middle School at the district spelling bee in January. The school community is excited to see how she performs and wishes her the best of luck in the competition.
