School Counselor
I am happy to introduce myself as the school counselor at North Douglas Elementary School.
A Georgia native, I grew up in Atlanta where I attended elementary, middle, high school and College. I became a resident of Douglasville in 2002.
My teaching degree was obtained from Clark Atlanta University where I majored in Early Childhood Education. With many years of teaching experience, I have taught grades kindergarten, first, second, and third.The majority of my experience as an educator has been in Cobb County and Douglas County schools. It is my pleasure to have worked in 3 amazing elementary schools in Douglas County School System, Dorsett Shoals, Holly Springs and North Douglas.
I received my M.Ed. in School Counseling in 2007. I really enjoy my role as a school counselor. It is my passion to help encourage all children to strive for their personal best. I am thrilled to work with the students, teachers, administrators, and parents whom I so highly regard.
My spare time is spent with my amazing family and friends. I love to travel and have visited many wonderful places.
