Tuesday, November 16, 12:30 p.m.: Douglasville Police Department: Food Distribution Event with Atlanta Community Food Bank
On Tuesday, November 16 from 12:30 pm – 1:30 pm, the Douglasville Police Department is working in conjunction with the Atlanta Community Food Bank to distribute food to households in need. This “free food drive thru” is on a first come, first serve basis while the food lasts. It is our goal to make this fast and easy. The line will be directed through the back of the police department. As vehicles enter for the distribution, they will line up and meet with a volunteer who will be asking reference households and then the vehicle will continue through the line where the food will be placed into the vehicle. The food will be placed either in the trunk or backseat, no need for anyone to exit the vehicle.
